10 Google Chrome Plugins Every Marketer Needs to Know About

Originally published August 2024 — updated June 2026

I love blogs and social posts like the one you’re reading right now. Over the years, I've discovered most of my essential Google Chrome plugins through recommendations from others online. Whether you work in marketing or not, I’m confident you’ll find a Chrome plugin for marketing on this list that will make your life a little easier.

  1. ColorPick Eyedropper
Ever stumble across a website and wonder what exact colour code they’re using? With the ColorPick Eyedropper, you can select an exact colour code from any webpage. This tool is a must-have for designers and marketers who want to maintain brand consistency or draw inspiration from other sites.

  2. Asana
For those who use Asana for project management, this plugin is a game changer. I'm new to it and working through all the functions available. It allows you to add tasks directly from a Word document or email to your Asana plan without switching tabs. Streamline your workflow and never miss an important task again!

  3. GoFullPage
Need to screenshot your whole webspage? One click and you can!

  4. Clipboard History Pro
This is one of my most-used plugins. Clipboard History Pro keeps track of everything you copy on your computer, up to the most recent 150 items. It’s a lifesaver when you lose something you’ve copied on one page and need to paste it elsewhere.

  5. Email Tracker for Gmail
Have you ever wondered if someone has opened your email? This plugin provides free and unlimited email tracking, letting you know exactly when your message has been read. It’s essential for staying on top of client communications.

  6. Google Translate
If you work with international clients, the Google Translate plugin is a must. Instead of searching for Google Translate every time, one click on this plugin translates content on your screen. It’s a handy tool that saves time and effort.

  7. Grammarly
Being dyslexic, Grammarly is a lifesaver for me. This plugin offers spell and grammar checks across web pages, Google Docs and emails. It’s a valuable tool for any marketer who wants to ensure their content is polished and professional.

  8. Loom
Loom is perfect for creating quick video tutorials or presentations. You can record your entire screen, add voiceovers and even include a video of yourself explaining what’s on the screen. It’s ideal for sharing content with clients or colleagues and you can share your recording via a link straight away. You'll also be notified when someone has watched your recording.

  9. What Font
Curious about what font a website is using? The What Font plugin easily identifies the font on any webpage, including its size, colour and family. It’s a great tool for designers and marketers.

  10. Save to Pinterest
If you often find yourself scrolling through the web and wanting to save images to your Pinterest boards, this plugin is for you. Simply hover over an image and the Pinterest icon will appear, allowing you to choose which board to save it to. It’s that easy!

These 10 Chrome plugins are fundamental tools in my marketing toolkit and I hope they make your work just that little bit easier too. If you have any recommendations for Chrome plugins I’d love to know!
